Following a strict selection process, we buy only healthy banana stems from both small and large-scale banana growers in Uganda. The stems are transported to our factory by trucks.

We measure stems to the required length of extracted banana fiber. Cut off dirty endings. Remove the outer sheaths. Then, carefully pluck the inner and finer sheathes for extraction.

Through a special procedure developed over time, we thoroughly extract Uganda Faiba from the inner and finer sheaths of banana stems, and remove all traces of biomass until we get clean and separate strands free from each other.

Before we dry Uganda Faiba, we process it further to remove any remaining biomass and dirty strands. We dry Uganda Faiba through two processes depending on the final use: under direct sunlight or under the shed.

We painstakingly sort Uganda Faiba. Remove strands of undesirable length and quality. Bundle the finest strands into bales. Put and seal the bales into airtight and waterproofed bags to keep it dry and clean giving our customers the FINEST EXTRACTED BANANA FIBER.
